Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) Announces Grade 7 Exam Fees for October 2024
ZIMSEC has revealed the registration fees for the Grade 7 examinations scheduled for October 2024. According to a statement released by the council, Grade 6 students of the 2024 class are permitted to register and make partial payments towards their final exams, slated for 2025.
While the examination fees are denoted in United States dollars, parents and guardians have the flexibility to make payments in Zimbabwean dollars, US dollars, or South African rand.
Those opting to pay in Zimbabwean dollars must settle their dues at their respective centers from March 19 to March 26, 2024, utilizing the interbank rate of March 19, as confirmed by ZIMSEC to all examination centers.
To avoid any inconvenience, schools and centers must confirm the registration closing dates.
The termly examination fees for Grade 7 students in 2024 vary: learners at public schools, local authority, and not-for-profit Mission schools are charged US$10, whereas those at private schools, colleges, and private candidates are required to pay US$22.
For Grade 6 students in 2024, the termly examination fees differ as well: learners at public schools, local authority, and not-for-profit Mission schools are levied US$5, while those at private schools, colleges, and private candidates are billed US$11.
ZIMSEC emphasizes that all payments should be made directly to the respective school or examination center; no payments should be made directly into the ZIMSEC account by parents or guardians.
