ZIFA’s First Instance Board granted approval on Thursday for Prophet Walter Magaya’s Heart Stadium to serve as a venue for Premier Soccer League matches.

The 5000-seat stadium is set to welcome its inaugural top-flight league fixture on Saturday as Khama Billiat’s Yadah Stars take on Simba Bhora.

Having been inaugurated officially last December by President Emerson Mnangagwa, Heart Stadium stands as one of the local stadiums primed for potentially hosting international matches.

With Thursday’s endorsement, Heart Stadium now joins Rufaro Stadium as one of only two venues authorized to host top-tier league matches in Harare.
