Caps United secured a 3-1 victory against Arenel in a match held at Rufaro Stadium during Match Day 4 of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League.

The home team, Caps United, opened the scoring with Lot Chiwunga finding the net after 17 minutes. Ralph Kawondera then doubled their lead with goals in the 71st and 82nd minutes.

Arenel managed to pull one back through Brian Jaravaza, who converted a penalty in the 76th minute.

Following this win, the team coached by Lloyd Chitembwe climbed to third place in the league standings.

In other league fixtures on Sunday, Chicken Inn played out a goalless draw against ZPC Kariba at Luveve Stadium. Meanwhile, Chegutu Pirates, in their league debut, secured a 1-0 victory over Green Fuel at Baobab Stadium, courtesy of a goal from Chifura in the 38th minute, marking their first win after four attempts.
