Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo has released a statement denying any involvement with purported voice recordings in which he allegedly stated that he had influence over President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Chivayo asserts that Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu used sophisticated Artificial Intelligence technology to create a fake voice note, making it sound as though he incriminated himself. His statement released on X is as follows:
